To enable Call Uploads to Trunking Recorder

Server Setup

  1. From the Configure menu select the "Call Uploading" tab.
  2. Select the "Server" tab.
  3. Select the "Accept Call Uploads from remote machines" checkbox.
  4. Enter a API Call Upload security key. This key should be at least 10 characters long and will be required by all Trunking Recorder clients that will upload calls to this server.
  5. The "Reject duplicate Calls" option will check each new call being uploaded to see if it matches one of the last 100 previously recorded or uploaded calls. If a match is found it will be rejected and not uploaded. Note: Duplicate call detection uses a margin of error system to allow for slight variations of Call Times and Call Length so it may allow/block some unexpected calls.
  6. The "Reject duplicate calls recorded on different sites" option will treat calls recorded from multiple sites as a duplicate. This option is useful if uploading multiple sites that can have the same call broadcast on both sites.
  7. The "Don't overwrite stored Talkgroup, Radio User, Site, or System Labels" option will cause Trunking Recorder to keep its currently stored labels and ignore any changes in the uploaded data. This is useful if you don't keep all uploading systems in sync with label settings.
  8. Click the "Save" button, Trunking Recorder will start accepting uploaded calls from other Trunking Recorder machines.
